Competence Management System

Our competence management system is fully integrated into our ISO9001 and ISO18001 quality and safety management systems so that our consultants and contractors can provide evidence and continually improve within our unique competence system.

We carry out a formal competence assessment so this means you can be confident that the individuals and teams you recruit through us will be capable and competent.

In preparation for putting a candidate forward we will provide their CV and competence assessment for review.

Candidates are required to enter into our competency scheme and provide evidence as proof of competence. Our competency system is comprehensive and job function specific. We use our candidates’ evidence to build a profile, identify any skills gaps and seek to attain full competence
Ensuring a full and verifiable CV with no omissions, detailing job history, education and training.
A minimum of two references from within the industry who can comment on technical competence and performance. After each contract / assignment we ask our clients to provide an appraisal outlining overall performance and successes, allowing us to provide positive development for our people
Provision of a valid passport and medical certificate as well as any other industry relevant certificates of training, qualifications or vaccinations are required. Our bespoke internal database maintains a record of expiry dates allowing us to remind our employees, contractors and consultants when renewals are due. We also perform validity checks on training institutions to ensure all details provided are correct
With an extensive and proven track record in the industry and our Technical Interview Panel consists of individuals who are experts in their field. Prior to their first placement with Entragen all new employees, contractors & consultants must complete a technical interview with a member of this panel. The interview covers not only standard questions about the work and equipment involved in a role, it also assesses responses to real-life situations that a consultant may encounter whilst carrying out their job function
